Grafis Nusantara Book Vol.1

Grafis Nusantara is a platform dedicated to archiving vintage Indonesian labels and stickers – presenting the archipelago’s lavish visuals and their significance as knowledge and reference materials.

This book is a collection of vintage Indonesian product labels, stickers, and logos made in the 70s to 90s.

This book consists of a collection by illustrator Rakhmat Jaka, published by Kamengski, a brand selling artist goods.

Grafis Nusantara Vol. 1 is a collaboration between Grafis Nusantara and Evan Wijaya, adding poppy colors and kitschy visual aesthetics to the book.

Product labels are divided into categories such as textiles and tea, and stickers are categorized into erotic, religious, etc., allowing you to see the richness of visual culture across Indonesia.

The book includes a booklet (the cover of the booklet is a sticker), 5 postcards, and a large tri-fold card.
